Mayor John Cooper and Bristol Motor Speedway have reached a deal to revitalize the Nashville Fairgrounds Speeday!
The Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway is a staple of the city and has been around for 117 years! With this revitalization, they are hoping to bring NASCAR cup series back to Nashville!
According to our news affiliate Fox 17; Mayor John Cooper Stated:
This partnership creates an economically viable future for our historic track, spurs hundreds of millions of dollars in economic activity, and completes the last unrenovated part of the Nashville Fairgrounds at no cost to the Metro General Fund.
