Former 'Bachelor' star Colton Underwood came out as gay in an interview with Robin Roberts on 'Good Morning America'.
In the interview, Underwood states:
I’ve ran from myself for a long time. I’ve hated myself for a long time. I came to terms with that earlier this year and have been processing it, and the next step in all of this was sort of letting people know.
Colton Underwood even went on to say that he attempted suicide because he would have rather died than admit that he was gay.
If you'll remember, we were first introduced to Colton Underwood on Becca Kuffin's season of 'The Bachelorette' -- then Underwood went on to be the star of 'The Bachelor' where he found love with Cassie Randolph.
During the interview, he directly apologized to Cassie Randolph by saying:
I would like to say sorry for how things ended. I messed up. I made a lot of bad choices.
