Sophie Turner is giving fans some rare insight into her dating life.
In a new interview with Net-a-Porter published on Monday (January 5), the Game of Thrones alum, 29, hinted at the current state of her love life, namely that she is seemingly single at the moment and instead putting her focus on her family and career, per E! News.
"I mean, I haven't seen my friends, or I haven't gone on a date in weeks, months!" she said. "I just sack off parts of my life sometimes. I only have the capacity for work and family right now. But I'm working on it. I'll get there."
Turner also spoke about feeling helpless amid media scrutiny and public opinion on her life, like during her 2023 split from ex-husband Joe Jonas, with whom she shares daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3. Even if some stories are true, the attention prevents her from "[having] the narrative over your own story."
"People take so much as fact these days," she said. "Any article that comes out, people go, 'Right, that must have happened.' You feel like you're gagged because silence is always the way to let something die out. But it means that you can't stand up for yourself ever, so there's a feeling of helplessness and shame."
Turner's comments come two months after reports circulated she had been casually dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 48. She was previously linked to aristocrat Peregrine "Perry" Pearson.
