Rays Drop Second Straight To Rangers

The Texas Rangers (7-2) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (4-4) 6-4 on Saturday night in Arlington, Texas. The Rays have now lost their first road series of the 2025 season.

The Rangers erupted for four runs in the first inning, but the Rays would rally to tie the game with a run in the third and three in the sixth to make it 4-4. Jonathan Aranda and Brandon Lowe both homered for the Rays to help tie the game.

Wyatt Langford gave the Rangers the win with a two-run homer in the seventh inning that made it 6-4. The Rays now look to avoid being swept when they meet in the series finale on Sunday.
