No Injuries in Central Florida Train Derailment

FORT MEADE -- A train derailment leaves some phosphate spilled on the ground in Polk County.

Eleven cars of a train carrying phosphate rocks went off the track in front of a Mosaic phosphate facility near the Polk-Hardee county line in Fort Meade around two Tuesday morning (21st).

The cars were carrying phosphate rocks but there is no hazardous material situation. No injuries are reported and there's no impact on traffic but cleanup will take some time.

It's not clear what caused the derailment.
